10, 000 New Car Manufacturing Jobs at Daimler (Germany)

In a report from AFP, the German automobile giant DAIMLER, will be creating some 10, 000 new jobs for its car manufacturing expansion this year. These new Daimler jobs was brought about by the rebound on global demand for cars last year, particularly in China.
Daimler AG (offical name) is a German automaker company. It is the 13th largest car manufacturer and second-largest truck manufacturer in the world. It produces cars and trucks under the brands of Mercedes-Benz, Maybach, Smart, Freightliner and many others.
Thanks in large part to rebound in global demand for cars, Daimler made a remarkable comeback last year. Its Mercedes-Benz brand alone sold 87% more autos in China than the same time the previous year.
The demand has led Daimler to need 10, 000 additional personnel, 4000 of which will be situated in Germany. And as part of the expansion of operations, the company was reported to be also looking to hire 500 new college graduates, 400 engineeers & computer specialists and some 2,000 apprentices.
This car-manufacturing jobs at Daimler is bit of welcome news for job seekers in Germany.
