2011 Teacher Training Scholarships in Japan

The MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology) of the Japanese Government offers scholarships to foreign students who wish to conduct research on school education at Japanese universities via the 2011 Teacher Training Scholarships.
The Japan Information and Culture Center (JICC), Embassy of Japan, is now accepting applications for Teacher Training Scholarshps for the year 2011:
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified individuals have only until February 25, 2011 to submit their application.
The selection process is composed of several stages, such as document screening, written examinations & interview screening.

The recipient should bring approximately US $1,500 or the equivalent to cover immediate needs after arrival in Japan
The Japanese government have long been offering scholarships to Filipinos, accepting almost 100 Filipino scholars annually to study in Japan under six different scholarship programs.
